PMBA Architects undertook the visionary interior renovation of the historic 1910-built Haas-Jordan umbrella factory, now the home of TolHouse — a private, Members-only social club that caters to the vibrant, city-dwelling creative, and entrepreneurial class. The culmination of this transformation presents a harmonious blend of diverse functions, including a restaurant and multiple bars, a coffeehouse and collaborative workspace, fully equipped kitchen and food preparation areas, versatile business and office facilities, and a jazz lounge. This architectural renaissance breathes new life into a venerable industrial structure, reimagining it as a beacon of creativity in the Vistula Historic District, considered Toledo’s oldest neighborhood.
