Defiance Regional Hospital – New Medical Office Building and Hospital Renovations ProMedica Health System

Guided by thorough master planning and programming, the design of the new Medical Office Building for ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital prioritized a patient-centric approach, emphasizing openness, brightness, and cleanliness. Patient experience was enhanced through thoughtful elements, while improved wayfinding enhanced internal and external navigation. The new building includes Laboratory, Rehab, Therapy Pool, Specialty Clinics, Ophthalmology, and Behavioral Health and it allows for future expansion on campus to accommodate growth and additional community needs. In addition to the 41,000 SF new MOB, our team was also responsible for designing approximately 15,000 SF of renovations to the existing hospital which provided space for Surgery expansion, Medical Oncology, and Wound Care.
